1stpeoplesfund

🌟 First Peoples Fund is NOW ACCEPTING applications for the Native Arts Ecology Building (NAEB): Rooted Pathways Program!

Native Arts Ecology Building (NAEB) extends support beyond individual artists by investing in Native nonprofit organizations, artist collectives, & Native Community Development Financial Institutions. Through cohort-based programs like Rooted Pathways, organizations gain resources, relationships, & tools to create meaningful opportunities for Native artists & elevate their value across communities.

$275,000 in funding will support 5 small Native-led arts & cultural organizations that are strengthening their foundations, uplifting artists, & deepening Indigenous arts ecosystems, with $55,000 grants to each organization.

âž• ABOUT ROOTED PATHWAYS
Rooted Pathways provides unrestricted general operating support, offering organizations the flexibility to define & advance their own well-being. The program includes participation in a learning cohort & requires interim & final reporting. Designed to support long-term sustainability, Rooted Pathways helps organizations deepen alignment with their mission & vision, strengthening their foundation, fostering growth, & building resilience over time. This program is a part of the @wallacefdn two-year $36 Million Dollar Advancing Well-Being in the Arts Program.

âś… ELIGIBILITY

• Serving U.S.-based artists and culture bearers from federally or state-recognized Tribes, Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian communities
